PGA Demo Day

Today was PGA demo day. I went with my family and it was so much fun. It was at Orange County National. It was a mile of vendors. I tried out every club company and vendor. My favorites were Softspikes, Cobra, Oakley, Titleist, Bridgestone, Yonex, and Honma. Softspikes changed all my spikes for free. At the Cobra stand I was hitting their drivers amazing! They had tons of cool clubs. I was wearing an Oakley shirt and I told them how much I like their stuff. The gave me a key chain and a bunch of stickers. At Bridgestone I did the ball fitting and he said my swing speed was 109.1 MPH. He also said that I carried the ball 242 yards. He gave me Bridgestone golf balls that fit my swing specs. They were e7s. At Titleist I tried a stiff shaft with nine point five loft. It was the 910 D2. I hit it really good. At Yonex I was crushing my drives and I had great accuracy. Then we ate lunch at Bubbaloos Bodacious barbecue. After that I hit some other brands and then tried Honma. The clubs are good but the driver alone costs 2,150 dollars!! If you want a set it is like $12,000!!! That was really fun. I can't wait for the PGA Show tomorrow! Check in to see what I do next time.

Struggling with your driver?

Yesterday I played Crooked Cat. I started hitting my drives high and to the left. To fix it at address I tilted my upper spine back away from the target a bit. This allowed the club to attack the ball from the inside path better. The result? Long straight drives with better contact!

Huge Changes!

Back in the summer I went so far over the top. I was hitting fullswing sandwedges 20 yards. I started working real hard on trying not go over the top by working on tons of drills that my dad Ted Eleftheriou gave me. I practiced almost everyday and started not going as much over the top as before. We tried so many drills and practiced so long on the range. Even though I was hitting it very bad at times and good at times I still hung in there and tried fixing it. Then one day I started going inside. My elbow was finally dropping to my side and I was hitting it better. I kept working on it even when I thought I got it. It took me four months to fix. Now I am doing great. I am now hitting fullswing sandwedges 100 yards. Even though it was really tough at times I still hung in there and I am doing amazing now. I am so glad I never gave up! Check in to see what I'm doing next time.

The Most Important Shot.......

Yesterday I played Crooked Cat at Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. I did really good. My shots were really good. I had a putt for birdie and made par on the first hole. On the second hole I had a chance for birdie but made par. On the third hole I made par. I had a chance for birdie on the on the fourth hole and made it. So I was -1 under after 4 holes. Then I made a bogey on the 5th hole and was back to even. On the sixth hole I made another par. I was even with three holes left and I did not do that good. I just need some more experience. I am on my way to the PGA TOUR. Check in to see what I do next time. I realize through my experience that The Most Important shot is the one before me now!
