My sister Madison my friend and I were the best golfers. The workers said we were the best golfers who played there. It was really cool. I will have to go back and beat my record. Contest With My Dad.

My dad Ted Eleftheriou  and I made an imaginary fairway on the practice range. We used our drivers. If you made it in the fairway you got a point and the first person to five is the winner. We went into a playoff to six and my dad won!

NEW GOLF BAG!

I bought a new golf bag on Amazon.com. It is so cool! It is blue, white, and silver! The bag is made by Callaway! The bag is not heavy at all. It came with one of those things to mark the ball. I love walking the course with it.

First time shooting in the 70s

At MetroWest I shot a 79. It was my first time shooting in the 70s. I was so excited when I made the putt. I shot a 39 on the front and 40 on the back. Some of the guys that work there saw me make the putt. I have the score card and ball that I used.

What I have been working on lately

I am working on my backswing. I am trying to keep my hips from turning too much. My weight is then moving a little bit towards the target causing thicker shots. I am feeling like my belt buckle is pointing at the target longer. I am also turning my right knee in just a little bit so that I don't turn my hips as much on my backswing. It has been helping a lot. My shots are less thick. I am working on that until I don't have to think about it anymore. Check in to see what I am doing next time!

Eagle #2

Yesterday I made my second eagle. It was on the second hole of MetroWest. That hole is a par 4. I hit it out of the bunker from 160 yards away and it rolled in. I got to see it roll in the hole. My mom and sister got to see it go in also. There was about 10 people in their yard who watched it go in the hole for eagle. One guy said did it go in and I said yes. The other guy said he hit it in from the bunker! It was really cool. That is my first eagle at MetroWest and second in my life. It was my first gallery. Check in to see what I do next time.

Golf Camp Last Week

Last week I went to golf camp. I was at Create Golfers Academy in MetroWest. I had a wonderful time. I met new people there. My sister Madison came to camp with us. We did full swing, chipping, putting, bunkers, pitch shots, lots of drills, games, and talked about safety. My favorite game we played was jail. We did not really go to jail. I can't wait for summer camps .

PGA Show 2012

My family and I went to the PGA Show. It was awesome! I had a great time there. First we got our PGA bags at the PGA members area. Then we looked around the place and my sister and I hit some shots with the Cobra clubs. At the the Cobra Puma spot there was a huge slide that you could slide down into a ball pit. Lexi Thompson was at Cobra Puma golf. It was so amazing there. I love Oakley stuff. The guys at Oakley were so cool! They gave me some great stuff. We only saw 1/3 of it all. We stayed for about three and a half hours. We saw a lot of famus people. We met Natalie Gulbis, Davis Love III, and Flavor Flav. I can't wait until I am there signing autographs! I can't wait until next year! Check in to see what I do next time.

PGA Demo Day

Today was PGA demo day. I went with my family and it was so much fun. It was at Orange County National. It was a mile of vendors. I tried out every club company and vendor. My favorites were Softspikes, Cobra, Oakley, Titleist, Bridgestone, Yonex, and Honma. Softspikes changed all my spikes for free. At the Cobra stand I was hitting their drivers amazing! They had tons of cool clubs. I was wearing an Oakley shirt and I told them how much I like their stuff. The gave me a key chain and a bunch of stickers. At Bridgestone I did the ball fitting and he said my swing speed was 109.1 MPH. He also said that I carried the ball 242 yards. He gave me Bridgestone golf balls that fit my swing specs. They were e7s. At Titleist I tried a stiff shaft with nine point five loft. It was the 910 D2. I hit it really good. At Yonex I was crushing my drives and I had great accuracy. Then we ate lunch at Bubbaloos Bodacious barbecue. After that I hit some other brands and then tried Honma. The clubs are good but the driver alone costs 2,150 dollars!! If you want a set it is like $12,000!!! That was really fun. I can't wait for the PGA Show tomorrow! Check in to see what I do next time.

Struggling with your driver?

Yesterday I played Crooked Cat. I started hitting my drives high and to the left. To fix it at address I tilted my upper spine back away from the target a bit. This allowed the club to attack the ball from the inside path better. The result? Long straight drives with better contact!

Huge Changes!

Back in the summer I went so far over the top. I was hitting fullswing sandwedges 20 yards. I started working real hard on trying not go over the top by working on tons of drills that my dad Ted Eleftheriou gave me. I practiced almost everyday and started not going as much over the top as before. We tried so many drills and practiced so long on the range. Even though I was hitting it very bad at times and good at times I still hung in there and tried fixing it. Then one day I started going inside. My elbow was finally dropping to my side and I was hitting it better. I kept working on it even when I thought I got it. It took me four months to fix. Now I am doing great. I am now hitting fullswing sandwedges 100 yards. Even though it was really tough at times I still hung in there and I am doing amazing now. I am so glad I never gave up! Check in to see what I'm doing next time.

The Most Important Shot.......

Yesterday I played Crooked Cat at Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. I did really good. My shots were really good. I had a putt for birdie and made par on the first hole. On the second hole I had a chance for birdie but made par. On the third hole I made par. I had a chance for birdie on the on the fourth hole and made it. So I was -1 under after 4 holes. Then I made a bogey on the 5th hole and was back to even. On the sixth hole I made another par. I was even with three holes left and I did not do that good. I just need some more experience. I am on my way to the PGA TOUR. Check in to see what I do next time. I realize through my experience that The Most Important shot is the one before me now!
